The Club was founded in 1964 and is owned by its membership, which consists of families that reside within the Pearl River Fire District. There are 515 regular family memberships and 95 senior memberships authorized in the By-Laws. The By-Laws, which include descriptions of membership for the Pearl River Nauraushaun Swim Club, can be found in the forms section. The Pearl River Nauraushaun Swim Club is governed by a Board of Directors which currently has 7 members, a full-time manager and three assistant managers.
The Club's bathing facilities consist of the large T-shaped main pool with 3', 5', and 12' deep sections with diving boards and marked swim lanes, a lift to enable those with limited mobility to enjoy the pool as well as a slide, brand new in 2013. The Kiddie Pool was replaced in 2010 and features clearer site lines as well as a zero entry on the north end with underwater bubble jets and spray features. The kiddie playground, designed for our younger members, was newly installed in 2016.
The Club also has a large pavilion which is available for use by all members as well as two playgrounds, swing sets, a basketball court, volleyball court, shuffleboard, a bocce court and a wiffle ball field. We have ping pong tables and a number of board games and we offer water aerobics for the members along with crafts for kids. In addition the Club offers wireless internet service to its members for their use while enjoying the facility. Half the pavilion or the entire pavilion may be reserved by a member depending upon the size of your party but a pavilion reservation form must be filled out with office and a guest list with the names of guests must be provided.
Members may bring guests everyday except Labor Day. The guest fees for weekdays are $5.00 for adults 18 and over and $4.00 for children 2-17 years old. The fees for weekends and holidays are $8.00 and $6.00 respectively. Families can buy a babysitter pass for the season for $100 or pay the daily guest fee for the babysitter with a note on file at the office. Guests will need to be signed in at the office by the member in attendance. The member is responsible for their guests and their guests abiding by the rules of PRNSC.
Please note that the guest fees and policies have changed with the 2018 season.
